How do I create a custom hostname for my server with a domain I own?

Can I point a hostname from a domain I own to my server?

Example, If you own foo.com, you want to create myserver.foo.com to your Teamspeak or Ventrilo server, the answer is yes you can.

You need to first get the IP address for your server, you can do this by logging into your Ventrilo or Teamspeak control panel and retrieving the IP address which will be in the format of (111.111.111.111).

You will then need to create an A record within your domain to point to that IP address. We do not provide support for users 3rd party domain management, you will need to talk to your provider.
